We are pleased to update that WalkMe has achieved EU US Privacy Shield certification with the US Department of Commerce, and meets the requirements of the new EU data transfer framework.
WalkMe worked with TRUSTe to review and verify that their data privacy management practices meet the new Privacy Shield EU data transfer privacy framework. TRUSTe will also provide independent dispute resolution services to address privacy related questions from users and ongoing access to privacy guidance through the TRUSTe Global Privacy Solutions team.
The EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Certification is further testament to WalkMe’s commitment, from day one, to privacy and data security for clients working in a globally integrated world. This is one of many mechanisms—such as ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II, CSA and more—in which we adhere to ensure our customers’ data is secure.
TRUSTe CEO Chris Babel said “we believe a strong data privacy management program is critical for companies to build customer trust and ensure privacy compliance. TRUSTe has partnered with WalkMe to help ensure they meet the Privacy Shield framework requirements and can demonstrate their privacy commitment to users, partners, and regulators.”
