“Microsoft is excited to announce that WalkMe has joined the Microsoft Business Applications ecosystem and will offer its Digital Adoption Platform to Microsoft Dynamics 365 customers and partners.”
This quote comes from Steven Guggenheimer, Corporate Vice President – AI and ISV Engagement at Microsoft. He is referring to the news of the recently launched strategic partnership between WalkMe and Microsoft Dynamics 365, which provides sales organizations the power to enable their work from home employees and realize their technology investments in times of disruption.
This partnership will allow enterprise organizations to easily deploy WalkMe’s Digital Adoption Platform with in-app guidance on top of Microsoft Dynamics 365 in an instant, giving employees the tools to utilize the technology more efficiently and productively.
Today’s working from home reality
Globally, work has drastically changed over the past month. For the first time, companies are having to deal with a remote workforce and major shifts in how they conduct business. Technology is now more important than ever, serving as a bridge to connect people and maintain business continuity.
“As organizations across the globe are coping with a new business reality of an entire remote workforce, embracing the adoption of business technology across the organization is the only way to empower their employees to effectively utilize their daily technology stack ” said Dan Adika, CEO and Co-Founder of WalkMe.
Why a digital adoption solution?
The average salesperson uses 14 different tools to do their job, leaving employees constantly contending with new updates and workflows within each application. While technology is supposed to help ease work, every new tool requires an investment of time and energy which impacts productivity and efficiency.
A digital adoption platform lets organizations realize the value of their investments by driving full application adoption, which in turn, helps their employees.
For Microsoft Dynamics 365, WalkMe’s platform will enable the creation of interactive, on-screen sequences to guide and engage users. Complex processes can be simplified and automated and Microsoft migrations from other CRMs quickly streamlined.
Data quality in most CRM systems is a challenge and your CRM is only as good as the data in it. Through SmartTips and Field Validation, WalkMe drives better data quality.
New users can be easily onboarded and ongoing training is simple to facilitate. If a user is stuck and doesn’t know how to proceed, WalkMe’s context-intelligent algorithm will ensure that each user receives the exact information they need, enabling self-service support.
Managers will have full visibility into software consumption through insights and analytics, giving them more oversight into where employees are falling short and more instruction is needed.
A forward-moving partnership
Organizations need to be thinking two steps ahead of how to best support their salespeople remotely. A major factor is providing employees with the right resources to best perform their jobs, regardless of their location.
WalkMe for Microsoft Dynamics is doing just that by bringing value across the entire sales ecosystem. Employee onboarding and adoption are accelerated, on-demand guidance is activated and processes are automated resulting in more efficiency and productivity.
